Social Portraiture

Finally got some social portraiture images to work with! (Unedited so far though!) The shoot went great today and wouldn't of worked half as well if I didnt have a stunning model. Great thanks to Pagan! You're a life saver :)

This is torture, i ave my assignment and im chomping at the bit to get started, i have models and settings figured out, now i just need christmas over! i am sooooo excited so keep a look out coz i will be posting the work in jan! in the mean time i'm of on another walk and feeling christmassy so heads up x

Ah the life of a sailor!

Working on a new project is always hard for me because i think it is hard to let go of those old niggling ideas in the back of your head and start fresh. I should be out doing lots of shoots on my 35mm film camera today but just cant find the inspiration to do anything. Overlooking my old work is like uncovering some old jewels that you forget were in your jewelry box. Here are a few rough diamonds i pulled out so far. Dont forget, there is a reason they are rough, they need ALOT of work!!

The joy of god-mother-hood

Recently my best friend had a beautifl little girl named Ava, and I'm proud to be named her god mother! I know who would have picked me? My friend is so lucky to have created something so beautiful and innocent, every time I hold her I get goosebumps. She has the most amazing blue eyes and tanned skin, she is already sprouting an afro! Little things in life can change how you fel for the rest of it, I am so honoured to be a part of that little girls life and can't think of anything that would make me happier!

Work, work, oh... and more work!!

Well two weeks until deadline and I find myself reminicing on a great day at uni. An hour lecture, followed by a lazy dinner at a great movie cafe, then two hours hard training playing snooker. Oh the life of a student! I have managed to edit some images to show you all though :) i know what your thinking! how do I have the time!

 If you haven't guessed by now I'm a landscape photographer with a weak spot for macro shoots. There are some times when I come home from a shoot and suprise myself with an image that is out of the ordinary for me, or sometihng that I didn't know I was capable of. Don't you just love it when that happens!

Yet another walk!

Dragging my boyfriend around on my adverntures around the north east is getting to be a regular occurance these days, with my new camera and boyfriend in tow I decided to explore hart to haswel walkway.
